"I had a very disappointing experience with State Farm. I tried using their app to track my driving for a discount, but the app demanded permission to access my photos. This was extremely concerning, and when I contacted State Farm, they denied the app even asked for such permissions, despite my phone's security clearly showing it did. Because I wouldn’t grant access to my photos, I couldn't fully set up the app or get the sensor required for the program. Adding to the frustration, when I canceled my policy, there was a refund due to me. Shockingly, it took 16 months to finally receive my refund. This kind of delay is unacceptable and highly unprofessional. Overall, my experience with State Farm was terrible, and I would not recommend them to anyone."

"I paid my State Farm bill on time like I do every month. But this month I discover that I can't pay multiple accounts with one check. I was informed that I had a surplus balance in one account, and a cancellation notice sent to me for 3 other accounts. Even though the total paid for all 4 accounts was correct. State Farm's new billing system forces frustration and anger upon us, my wife was really upset. I still don't know if my policies will be cancelled on December 30th like the notice says. Merry Christmas from State Farm. The lady at the State Farm office is sympathetic, but she says this issue was forced on all of us by State Farm corporate. This represents a new belligerent attitude from State Farm. They would rather anger customers, than adjust their billing software. If they fight me on crediting a payment, how much more would they fight me on a claim? It's time to study our options. Would Amica or Farmers pull a stunt like this?"
